There is a limited number of PARTIAL scholarships to be awarded to deserving individuals from developing countries. The scholarships will cover any of the following:
- Return ticket (economy)
- Accommodation for the duration of the conference
- Conference registration fees
To be eligible for scholarships, applicants should have their asbtract(s) accepted by the conference technical committee for presentation at the conference; indicate the type of scholarship being applied for and in addition write a 500-words motivation statement indicating why they should be awarded a scholsrship.
Applications for scholarships can be sent to swsd2017@swazzambia.org and copied to swazzambia@yahoo.com.
Deadline for application for scholarships is 21st April, 2017.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Registration can either be done electronically or through a downloadable form.
REGISTRATION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The Organizing Committee will acknowledge registrations upon receipt of completed registration form and proof of payment.
NOTE: Abstracts will not be included in the final programme unless registration fees have been paid and confirmed.

OFFICIAL CURRENCY
The official currency in Zambia is the Zambian Kwacha (ZMW). Fluctuations in foreign exchange markets are reflected in new rates daily. Traveller’s cheques and foreign currency notes of all major currencies can be exchanged at any commercial banks. Some hotels have foreign currency exchange services.
CANCELLATION OR REFUNDS
Cancellations must be received in writing to swsd2017@swazzambia.org and will be accepted up until 25th May 2017. Refunds will be executed post conference less 25% administration fee. Cancellations after 25th May 2017 shall not be accepted. However, transfer of registration to another person will be accepted and must be communicated to the Secretariat in writing to swsd2017@swazzambia.org.
